Biography
Avi Gilburt, a New York native, attended Queens College for a BA in economics and accounting, St. Johns for a law degree., and then N.Y.U. for a masters of law in taxation. At the age of 28, he became a National Director and partner at a major national firm, where he ran the state and local tax department, co-chaired the healthcare department, and headed up some of the largest national healthcare deals during his tenure at the firm. At the age of 33, he officially retired from the firm in order to dedicate himself to raising his young children when he sadly became a single father.
Once his family life was more settled, Avi then followed his passion into the financial markets. And, over the last 13 years, Avi has become an internationally renowned stock market analyst and advisor, with a particular focus on the US stock market and precious metals, such as gold and silver. The firm he owns and operates has almost 8000 clients, with approximately 1000 of them being money managers worldwide.
He now resides in the Washington, DC area, with his wife Sharise. Together, they have 6 children that range in age from 14 to 27.
Avi is a highly sought after speaker by financial forums and conferences in the U.S. and internationally, is interviewed by radio stations across the country, and is widely syndicated on sites including MarketWatch, TheStreet, Seeking Alpha, Nasdaq.com, Forbes and more.
